Hereby the July newsletter of Quootz. In this newsletter you will read about the restructuring of our organization, Our new sistercompany Dok.Legal and how one of our customers uses the Merkato software from Quootz to be even more successful.
In recent months, we have worked hard to restructure our organization.
This has resulted in a new holding company called “Merkato Group BV”. Quootz is now an operating company of the Merkato Group. Through this change, we are shaping our ambition to market the Merkato software portfolio more widely.
By working smartly with resources and bundling developments within the Merkato Group, we can work even more efficiently. Although all operating companies operate independently, many new cross-selling opportunities will also arise, enabling us to offer our customers even better services.
From the Merkato Group we can now accommodate the ambitions of starting entrepreneurs. This is an important (personal) objective for us. After all, entrepreneurship is what keeps an economy going!
One of the new companies in the Merkato Group is Dok.Legal. This company uses the Merkato Software Suite as a basis for the creation and (online) settlement of contracts and agreements. The working area of Dok.Legal is, for example, in real estate, government, civil-law notaries and the legal profession.
The management of Dok.legal consists of two ambitious entrepreneurs. One is an experienced lawyer, the other has years of experience in building online systems for the mass processing of huge amounts of customer requests. In addition, Dok.Legal has built an extensive management environment for managing contracts.

Last month our reporter visited another successful customer of Quootz. This time she was a guest at VDL Translift in Dronten. The result is an interesting report of the implementation of Merkato at VDL Translift.
Demand Driven Supply Chain Sessions
Last week we organized a seminar with TradeCloud with our joint customer Heering. The theme of this seminar was sharing information with suppliers and specifically with a view to the Demand Driven SupplyChain. Many production companies can achieve great success here, for example by automating processes. This can result in significant savings on cost items such as purchasing, logistics and personnel.
